About Me:

“When a man delights to read or hear about God,
that comes of divine grace and is lordly entertainment for the soul.
To entertain God in one's thoughts is sweeter than honey.”

None can tone me,who would injure me?
The world stands aside to make room for me.
I come, O blazing Light! The shadows must flee.
Hail, O ye ocean, divide up and part!
Or parched up and scorched up, be dried up, depart!
None can tone me, who would injure me?
Beware, O ye mountains! Stand not in my way.
Your ribs will be shattered and tattered today!
Friends and couns'lors pray waste not your breath,
Take up my orders, devour up ye death!
None can tone me who would injure me?
I ride on the tempest astride on the gale.
My gun is the lightning, my shots never fail.
I chase as a huntsman I eat as I seize
The trees and the mountains, the land and the seas.
None can tone me, who would injure me?
I hitch to my chariot the fates and the gods;
In the voice of thunder proclaim it abroad!
Howl, O ye winds! Blow, bugles, blow free!
Liberty!Liberty!Liberty!Om!
None can tone me, who would injure me?
None can tone me, who would injure me?

In this profound poverty of being nothing, every something is a present.

TIRED OF SPEAKING SWEETLY~
Love wants to reach out and manhandle us,
Break all our teacup talk of God.
If you had the courage and
Could give the Beloved His choice, some nights,
He would just drag you around the room
By your hair,
Ripping from your grip all those toys in the world
That bring you no joy.
Love sometimes gets tired of speaking sweetly
And wants to rip to shreds
All your erroneous notions of truth
That make you fight within yourself, dear one,
And with others,
Causing the world to weep
On too many fine days.
God wants to manhandle us,
Lock us inside a tiny room with Himself
And practice his dropkick.
The Beloved sometimes wants
To do us a great favor:
Hold us upside down
And shake all the nonsense out.
But when we hear
He is in such a “playful drunken mood”
Most everyone I know
Quickly packs their bags and hightails it
Out of town.

Love is life it shows all the way to live in the greatness, its supremacy humbles us. We are so small and insignificant until we choose to embrace it in its true form, only then will we begin to grow into our pure, naked truth.

The self is false and insincere;
I completely lack a pure mind.
Each of us in outward bearing,
Makes a show of being wise, good, dedicated;
But so great are our greed, anger, perversity, and deceit,
That we are filled with all forms of malice and cunning…
Lacking even small love and compassion,
I cannot hope to benefit sentient beings…
With minds full of malice and cunning, like snakes and scorpions
We cannot accomplish good acts through self power…
Shinran (1173-1262 A.D.)

Master your senses
What you taste and smell,
What you see,
What you hear,
In all things be a Master
Of what you do, say, and think.
Be Free…
Are you quiet?
Quieten your body
Quieten your mind
By your own efforts
Waken yourself, watch yourself
And live Joyfully.
Follow the truth of the way
Reflect upon it
Make it your own
Live it
It will always sustain you.

THE CIRCLE AROUND THE ZERO
A lover doesn't figure the odds.
He figures he came clean from God
as a gift without a reason,
so he gives without cause
or calculation or limit.
A conventionally religious person
behaves a certain way
to achieve salvation
A lover gambles everything, the self,
the circle around the zero! He or she
cuts and throws it all away.
This is beyond
any religion.
Lovers do not require from God any proof,
or any text, nor do they knock on a door
to make sure this is the right street.
They run,
and they run.
Rumi-Mathnawi,VI, 1967-1974

Soul, I know thou art in distress.
From the day thou brokest contact with the Word,
Thou hast formed attachments with the mind.
Thy stupid mind has bound thee to the body,
And in the snare of sensual pleasures holds thee.
Thy kith and kin are a source of pain,
Yet art thou tied fast to these.
A living spirit thou, and false and lifeless these.
Between these two how could there reconciliation be?
Proper therefore to wake up now,
Rather than be caught in the cycle of transmigration.
Through Satsang seek the everlasting
and cultivate the Master's love.
From the Master learn the secret of the Word
And climb up to the heaven again.
Do this much in the present life;
The Master will look to the rest.
Even now take heed, says Radha Soami;
Sorrows will vanish, and the secret
Of eternal bliss stand revealed.

LOVE IN THE BELOVED
By Huzur Maharaj Sawan Singh
The existence of Love is caused by the beauty of the Beloved. Love is first awakened in the Beloved. Unless there is an attraction from the latter, any action by the lover will be of no avail. If there is need for medicine, then it is necessary to have pain, because if one is not ailing he needs no medicine. The Beloved always keeps an eye on the condition of His lover and imparts all the love He can attract.
We have no pain of love within us, otherwise the physician is always there. The physician of love has the power even to give life to the dead and is a fountain of mercy, but if we have no desire or no pangs, on whom shall He bestow His mercy? You should therefore stop running after the world but have a longing to go in the direction of love, because this alone will free you from the demon of death. You should hunt for the Truth and not care for other game, because this hunting will scare even the Angel of Death. All the thoughts in one's mind-even if they are as beautiful as flowers- are thorns if they are not directed at the Beloved. The wealth of the spark of love can be seen only in lovers. If you turn away from such lovers, you will be sorry in the end.—-taken from: Philosophy of the Masters Vol. 2

WE HAVE NOT COME TO TAKE PRISONERS
We have not come here to take prisoners,
But to surrender ever more deeply
To freedom and joy.
We have not come into this exquisite world
To hold ourselves hostage from love.
Run my dear,
From anything
That may not strengthen
Your precious budding wings.
Run like hell my dear,
From anyone likely
To put a sharp knife
Into the sacred, tender vision
Of your beautiful heart.
We have a duty to befriend
Those aspects of obedience
That stand outside our house
And shout to our reason
“O please, O please,
Come out and play”
For we have not come here to take prisoners
Or to confine our wonderous spirits,
But to experience ever and ever more deeply
Our divine courage, freedom, and
Light!

IN A TREE HOUSE
Light
Will someday split you open
Even if your life is now a cage,
For a divine seed, the crown of destiny,
Is hidden and sown on an ancient, fertile plain
You hold the title to.
Love will surely bust you wide open Into an unfettered blooming new galaxy
Even if your mind is now
A spoiled mule.
A life giving radiance will come,
The Friend's gratuity will come-
O look again within yourself,
For I know you were once the elegant host
To all the marvels in creation.
From a sacred crevice in your body
A bow rises each night
And shoots your soul into God.
Behold the Beautiful Drunk Singing One
From the lunar vantage point of love.
He is conducting the affairs
Of the whole universe
While throwing wild parties
In a tree house-on a limb
In your heart

The hoopoe, the crested one who acts as guide, tells about
the fifth valley on the Way, the Valley of Unity:
“There everything is broken to pieces and reformed.
All lift their heads in that place
from one collar.
And since the Being I speak of is beyond
unity and numbering,beyond
before and after, and since all that is visible
vanishes to nothing, nothing
can be spoken or contemplated.
In this valley the spiritual traveler disappears,
and the unique Being will manifest.
The part becomes the whole,
and in the school of the secret,
what is knowledge?
Intellect hesitates on that threshold
like a blind child.”
